OFFICE OF THE CHIEF REGIONAL OFFICER
The Office of the Chief Regional Officer also known as the Accounting Officer is the highest Statutory Administrative Office in the Region. The Chief Regional Officer is responsible for all Administrative processes, including those of all eight (8) Constituencies, four (4) Settlements and six (6) delegated functions in the region.
It's Strategic Objectives are:
1.To prioritize regional infrastructure development including the servicing of plots, the construction of houses, replacement of the bucket system, construction of roads and regional proclamations;
2. To enhance the socio-economic well-being of the region by reducing regional poverty, HIV/AIDS prevalence, to support SME business to enable employment creation and to enhance the sustainable management and utilization of natural resources;
3. To enhance that sound governance principles are held to the highest possible standards;
4. To ensure robust financial and resource management, thereby ensuring that priority strategic projects are implemented, monitored and reported on;
5. To ensure that competent staff are attracted, developed and retained to capacitate the region to deliver on its mandate; and
6. To implement performance monitoring and reporting protocols, to ensure that employees are held accountable for results
