Functions

• Monitor the implementation of the curriculum;
• Provide learning support materials to all schools;
• Provide counselling, psycho-social support and career guidance;
• Administration of all regional and national examination activities;
• Provide accommodation and support appropriate environment for learning;
• Provide services pertaining to the library and archives;
• Provide adult literacy classes and community skills development through CLDCs;
• Provide arts and culture training and offer opportunities for local artists to participate in Regional, National and International events;
• ollect and document information on cultural heritage objects and specimens for display in Zambezi Museum; and
• Provide staff development opportunities.
